Chapter 1. This piece is by Ruairí Dall Ó Catháin and is called 'Tabhair Dom Do Lámh' ('Give Me Your Hand'). Ruairí was an early 17th century blind harpist-composer.

Chapter 7. Turlough O'Carolon, another blind harpist-composer, composed this song 'Eleanor Plunkett', which is performed here by Brian Manners and John Manners.

The ap Huw Manuscript. The mysterious ap Huw manuscript is brought to life by harpist Paul Dooley. This is the oldest known harp music in the world.

Chapter 9. Here we have the original tune of the well-known song 'Danny Boy'. It is called 'Aisling an Ógfhir' or 'The Young Man's Dream'.
